The role
As part of our Engineering & Sustainment Services group, the Resourcing Coordinator will act as a key resourcing advisor, leveraging data analytics and workforce planning insights to implement high-impact resourcing strategies. As the primary point of contact for all participants and the custodian of the Duty Statement Library, you will drive continuous improvement, build hiring manager capability through targeted training, and serve as the final escalation point for all recruitment-related matters.
Further, the successful candidate will:
- Coordinate interview panels, managing candidate communications, and maintaining job boards and external job advertisements.
- Manage recruitment action requests, vacancy briefs, release of roles, submission management & offers.
- Deliver end-to-end Talent Acquisition services, driving a "continuous improvement" mindset to enhance both hiring manager and candidate experiences.
- Manage all offer negotiations with participants and ensure the professional delivery of feedback to unsuccessful candidates
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from conducting initial hiring briefs and advertising roles to supporting screening, shortlisting, and final interviews
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation lead for all assigned recruitment matters for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Take full ownership of the onboarding, change (internal movements), and offboarding processes to ensure compliance and a positive employee experience.
- Act as a primary bridge between operational managers and industry participant points of contact.
- Maintain accurate headcount data, organisational charts, and distribution lists.
- Design and distribute electronic direct mail for job opportunities and managing the P&C SharePoint site.
- Assist the Resourcing Lead with ad-hoc recruitment projects, process improvements, and candidate experience surveys.
- General People & Culture administration including document preparation, filing, and record-keeping.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- Tertiary qualifications in either Human Resources, Business or a related field (desirable).
- Recruitment coordination, HR administration, or a high-volume scheduling/coordination role.
- Managing the full talent acquisition lifecycle, ideally within a complex project.
- High-level competency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software to manage workflows and candidate data.
- Working within a multi-partner or joint venture environment (defence or engineering sectors highly regarded).
- Capability in influencing and advising senior leadership and diverse participant groups on resourcing strategies and supply solutions.
- Managing sensitive personnel data with high levels of confidentiality.
- Executing digital content updates (MS SharePoint, Job Boards, or EDMs).
