We’re looking for an RF-subsystem engineer with a focus on systemization, integration and verification. You will join a highly skilled team working on the next generation of radar sensor platforms.
Your role
The department Antenna Core Platform is responsible for developing expertise and solutions to support Surveillance in this challenge of becoming more modular, enabling faster time to market and achieve a more efficient development.
Today this team of 12 people are developing a platform that addresses these challenges. The department Antenna Core Platform will continue developing this platform but will also work proactively in defining new ones. The department also work directly with customer specific needs within customer contracts.
As a member of Antenna Core Platform you will contribute to new technical solutions as well as develop your competence – in cooperation with highly skilled coworkers.
As a subsystem engineer you will take part in all phases of the product development: inception, implementation proposals, cost estimates, systemization, integration, verification and industrialization. An employment with us means many opportunities in both profession and career.
Your profile
To be successful in the role we see that you have great communication skills, since you will have multiple stakeholders. You are well organized and well versed in writing technical documentation. You also have an interest and aptitude for working in a cross-disciplinary system context.
Required skills:
M.Sc. degree in a relevant area (electrical engineering, engineering physics, applied mathematics or automation) preferably with a high frequency electronics, microwave electronics or RF-profile
Practical experience of integration and verification work in a lab environment, including working with advanced instrumentation and data analysis
Programming skills in Python and/or Matlab
Desired skills
Experience from designing RF/microwave subsystems and/or antennas
In-depth experience from industry standard RF/microwave design tools such as Keysight ADS and/or Ansys HFSS (or similar)
Experience from breaking down system requirements into requirements on lower-level function blocks
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
