Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled RF Test Technician to join our dynamic Production team and contribute to the verification, Testing and development of our radar systems. As an RF Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our radar products. You will work in a state-of-the-art testing environment and collaborate closely with our engineering team to guarantee the quality and functionality of our radar systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform RF testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of RF components, subassemblies, and complete radar systems to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot: Identify and diagnose issues or discrepancies in RF systems, components, and circuitry, and work collaboratively with the engineering team to resolve them.
  • Data analysis: Collect and analyse test data, interpret results, and generate reports to provide valuable feedback to the engineering team for product improvement.
  • Calibration: Perform equipment calibration to ensure the accuracy of measurement instruments and maintain calibration records.
  • Quality assurance: Contribute to quality control by implementing and adhering to testing standards and protocols to meet customer and industry requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all tests, results, and any modifications made during the testing process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Production and other team members to provide feedback, collaborate on troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or equivalent in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.. (Preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in RF testing and troubleshooting within a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in the use of RF testing equipment and software, such as spectrum analysers, signal generators, and network analysers.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of radar technology, RF circuitry, and signal processing is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and engineers.
  • Attention to detail: A meticulous approach to work, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Problem-solving: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve technical issues efficiently.
  • Safety-conscious: Committed to adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Time management: Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and priorities.
