Your role
As Risk & Opportunity Manager at Saab, BU AEW&C, you will be an integral part of the AEW Programme Management team. You will work closely with Bid Managers and Programme Directors, ensuring that risks and opportunities are systematically identified, assessed and managed throughout campaigns and customer programmes.
Your work will directly enable informed decision-making, operational excellence and long-term business growth in a complex, high-tech and international environment.
In this role, you will
Drive Risk & Opportunity Management activities in campaigns and customer programmes
Build and maintain a network with Risk & Opportunity Managers at project level
Work closely with and report to Customer Programme Directors
Support risk and opportunity owners by:
Planning and facilitating identification, evaluation and treatment workshops
Performing root cause analyses and SWOT analyses
Providing training, coaching and follow-up
Evaluate the effectiveness of Risk & Opportunity Management and propose, drive and implement improvements
Contribute to the long-term development of Risk & Opportunity Management, both in Winning and Execution Business phases
Provide clear reporting, analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Your profile
We are looking for someone who is collaborative and able to build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You have excellent communication skills, sound analytical ability, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
You work in a structured and efficient manner, combining a high level of integrity and personal drive with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional Programme Management Team. You also have a strong business mindset and understand the financial impact of decisions and activities.
We believe you have
- Experience from programme, project, delivery or contract management, preferably within defence, aerospace, telecoms or other complex systems industries
- Experience of Risk & Opportunity Management, project risk management or related roles in large complex projects
- Proven leadership experience from a managerial position, preferably within a complex, technology-driven or regulated environment
- Solid project management skills and experience from similar roles
- Understanding of operational excellence and continuous improvement principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
