Your role
We’re seeking an experienced and driven Sales Director to join our team. You’ll play a key role in identifying client needs, formulating technically and operationally feasible use-cases, and driving sales of our software platforms. As Sales Director, you will create and implement a successful growth and capture strategy for our advanced software solutions that supports the long-term strategy of the business. Your ability to communicate complex software capabilities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential.
- Drive sales of advanced software solutions to defense clients and partners.
- Understand and explain software licensing structures and their implications for different customer segments.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and customer stakeholders to tailor solutions.
- Translate client operational requirements into software use-cases with clear ROI.
- Articulate the difference between software features and bugs in customer conversations.
- Communicate the advantages of AI/ML-based capabilities in comparison to traditional intelligence analysis.
- Guide customers on how they can develop their own applications using our platform tools
- Proposal management – develop win themes, coordinate operational and pricing teams
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships with the customer community
- Drive competitive intelligence, market trends, accessible markets and provide insights regarding price-to-win strategies
- Build trust-based relationships with intelligence, operations, and technology personnel within customer organizations.
Your profile
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B or B2G sales, ideally within defense, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors.
- Strong general understanding of software development processes and terminology.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in the defense or intelligence domain.
- Ability to understand and communicate data-driven capabilities within the ISR loop.
- Skilled at identifying customer pain points and translating them into viable software solutions.
- Excellent communication skills – able to simplify technical language for decision-makers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a military or intelligence environment (e.g., analyst, operator, or technologist).
- Background in software development or engineering – ideally with customer-facing experience.
- Familiarity with customer software development environments and how third-party applications integrate.
