Job Description:
Saab, Inc. Autonomous & Undersea Systems is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing organization. This position reports directly to the Autonomous & Undersea Systems Controller and provides a wide range of financial support for defense contract execution and internal cost management.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Support assigned contracts, interfacing with program teams to track, forecast and improve financial performance
Financial oversight of program revenue, cash flow, expenditures, estimates at completion and variances to plan
Support Earned Value Management analysis through collaboration with program teams
Support the development and maintenance of program budgets/baselines, from initial work authorization through program completion
Review program contracts to ensure business compliance with all clauses and regulations
Monitor and coordinate customer invoicing with internal Billing team and identify opportunities to improve business cash flow performance
Work cross functionally to help ensure contracts are executing to plan and delivering on schedule
Support proposal costing and pricing efforts including cash flow analysis and review of request for proposal (RFP) clauses for compliance
Advise program team members and senior management on the financial health of programs and overhead budgets
Prepare and present various ad hoc external and internal financial reporting
Work with Program Managers and business Controller to ensure program forecasts are accurately reflected in business P&L and cash flow projections for the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning
Provide ongoing input and initiative towards process improvement efforts. Work collaboratively with the broader Finance and Program teams to identify, propose and implement process improvement initiatives to enable more accurate and efficient reporting.
Compensation Range: $78,900-98,600

Skills and Experience:
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, or relevant field of study
MBA degree preferred, but not required
6+ years of relevant experience
Financial analysis experience in the U.S. DoD contracting industry preferred
Required Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel including but not limited to pivot tables, formulas and graphing
Proficient with US GAAP, IFRS and other general accounting rules and principles
Familiar with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts, systems and reporting
U.S. Government contracting experience desired, including familiarity with FAR, DFARS and CAS rules and regulations
Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to multi-task
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interface and work cross functionally and work effectively with various levels of the organization
Effective use of critical thinking to solve problems
Desired Experience and Skills:
Familiarity with Oracle E-business Suite or other ERP systems, Cobra and other financial management software helpful, but not required
