Job Description:
Saab’s Surveillance (Syracuse, NY) division is seeking a motivated, expert in Hardware Automation Testing. Within the role of Senior Integration and Test Engineer, the successful candidate will:
Implement TestStand to streamline the testing processes across engineering and production test efforts.
Develop automated test framework, drivers, test cases (LabView, Python)
Execute hardware testing at various levels of the build process (e.g. unit, subsystem, and system) with a focus specific on automated implementation.
Support integration activities, troubleshooting and regression testing.
Create, upgrade, maintain automated test cases & associated documentation.
Identify, generate and validate automation tools specific to desktop applications.
Develop integration & test plans and procedures and supporting test scripts.
Generate automated test reports documenting the results of formal test events.
Analyze requirements; developing verification strategies focused on incorporating automated testing methods.
Produce automated test functionality with a focus on production testing, test point driven testing, design for manufacturing/production.
Compensation Range: $94,800 - $120,900
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Skills and Experience:
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline is required.
10+ years of experience in a technical/engineering/production environment.
Expert in implementation of NI Tools; LabView & TestStand
Experience with scripting languages JavaScript, Python, C++, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across disciplines and organizations.
