In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) sales strategy by providing in-depth analysis and actionable recommendations.
Your role
As a Competitive and Market Intelligence analyst you will work in close cooperation with your colleagues at the AEW&C Marketing and Sales department providing analyses, reports, and decision support in alignment with our ongoing activities. You will develop and effectively present useful and insightful information from a variety of sources that leads to accurate and appropriate interpretation of our competitive landscape and market.
The main responsibility areas are:
- Competitive and Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive analysis of competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to identify opportunities and threats within the AEW&C landscape.
- Strategic Insights: Develop data-driven strategies and recommendations to support marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and product development.
- Data Storytelling: Translate complex data into clear, compelling presentations and reports that inform key stakeholders and drive decision-making.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with our sales teams and product management, to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
- Innovation: Explore and evaluate new data sources, analytical tools and technologies to enhance our analysis and reporting efficiency.
Your profile
While this position requires internal work, a successful candidate understands that attending external activities (exhibitions, customer presentations, trade shows, suppliers etc) are essential. Travelling is therefore required, both inside and outside Sweden. These travels can be related to specific customer interactions as well as exhibitions, events, and supplier visits.

You are expected not only to work with your individual area of responsibility, being a member of the team also means that you interact and take part in other activities and tasks within the unit.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Competitive and Market Intelligence Analyst, ideally within the aerospace or defense industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to draw insights from data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis tools.
A passion for the AEW&C sector and a desire to contribute to Saab's mission.
Since you mainly will engage international customers, English skills in a business environment both orally and in writing is mandatory. It is also preferable with Swedish skills.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
