As Software Manager for the Sensor Core Application software section, you will lead skilled engineers in embedded software development and signal processing. Our teams work in agile, product-focused groups where collaboration and decentralized decision-making are key to achieving speed and quality. Your role will include both technical and strategic leadership, ensuring our software solutions meet the highest standards for mission-critical applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive technical excellence in software engineering, ensuring high-quality solutions.
- Lead and support your teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Own the design responsibility for Sensor Core signal and data processing software.
- Implement DevOps best practices tailored for embedded and mission-critical software.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee recruitment, budgeting, and strategic growth within your section.
Your profile

Your experience and skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, with a strong interest in coaching and developing people.
- A solid background in modern software engineering practices and experience of agile methodologies.
- Deep understanding of complex system integration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire.
- Flexible and dynamic, with the ability to make quick decisions and prioritize what matters most in the moment without losing the strategic perspective.
- A good listener with a strong ability to solve problems
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Relevant academic qualifications or equivalent experience.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply
