Specialist: Remuneration & Benefits

Responsible for the administration of employee’s compensation and benefits, compensation databases, job grading, benchmark compensation as well as employee share matching scheme. Responsible for coordinating global mobility services and execution in line with Saab’s International Assignment Policy.

Your role

  • Prepare the annual workforce and salary budget including the evaluation of the need for new positions and the total remuneration cost 
  • Management and administration of Saab Shares scheme
  • Analyse different components of the remuneration scheme in the organization and prepares reports about the internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Manage all increase related administration, timeous surveying, benchmarking and analysis
  • Collaborate with line managers to drive HR & Comp policies and processes
  • Administration and management of the Job Profiling and Job Grading process
  • Coordinates and manages the relationship with the external compensation consulting company
  • Ensure a smooth expatriation and repatriation of all international assignments  
  • Coordination and administration of Expat’s and benefits planning & administration 
  • Provide guidance and support in obtaining the necessary visas, work permits, and other immigration documents
  • Act as the liaison for communicating with immigration authorities and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations in both the home and host countries
  • Administration of benefits and liaison with third party service providers

Your profile

  • Good working knowledge of international assignment management
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, advanced skills in Excel and skills in SAGE VIP
  • Adequate knowledge of current labour rules and regulations
  • Five (5) years’ experiences in managing, rewards and benefits and HR Systems
  • Three (3) years global mobility experience
  • Proven working experience as a compensation and benefits specialist
  • Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management
  • Previous experience with labour market surveys
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment and compensation law and employees tax knowledge

Desired skills:

  • Five (5) years’ experiences in managing, rewards and benefits and HR Systems
  • Three (3) years global mobility experience
  • Proven working experience as a compensation and benefits specialist
  • Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management
  • Previous experience with labour market surveys

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance
