Strategy Analyst – Strategic Initiatives

Solna, Göteborg, Linköping or Stockholm,
Sweden
Closing date: 23 April 2026

Within Saab’s Group Strategy function, we are now looking for a Strategy Analyst who will support the evaluation of new strategic opportunities and initiatives across the company.

Your role

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling complex and sometimes undefined opportunities and turning them into structured analysis and clear recommendations.

As Strategy Analyst, you will work with a broad range of strategic questions that emerge across Saab’s organization.

Your task will be to help create structure and understanding: analyzing opportunities, identifying implications and supporting the organization in deciding whether and how Saab should move forward.

You will work closely with colleagues across Saab, gathering insights from subject matter experts and translating them into clear analysis and recommendations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Structuring and analyzing emerging strategic questions and opportunities
  • Conducting opportunity analyses and developing business cases
  • Identifying potential ownership and organizational placement of new initiatives
  • Preparing clear analysis and presentations for decision-making
  • Supporting the definition of next steps and, in some cases, initial implementation of initiatives

Your profile

You combine strong analytical skills with the ability to build relationships and create trust, enabling you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization. At the same time, you bring structure and focus to complex questions and are motivated by turning analysis into clear recommendations and concrete next steps.

You have an academic background, combined with early professional experience in consulting, strategy or project-based roles within an industrial environment.

You likely have:

  • A university degree in engineering, business or economics
  • 2–5 years of experience from strategy, consulting, analysis or project management
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex information
  • Experience preparing presentations and analysis for decision-making
  • The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with experts across different disciplines

As a person, you are curious, driven and pragmatic, with a genuine interest in understanding new areas and perspectives. You are comfortable navigating situations where the answers are not yet clear and have the confidence to explore new questions while maintaining the humility required to work closely with highly specialized experts across Saab.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of

Explore a wealth of possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart inventions, and grow beyond. This is a place for curious minds, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together, we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing our unique perspectives. Your part matters.
