The System Verifier forms part of the System Engineering team, in the execution of customer projects in order to deliver the required product / system on time, within specification and within the budgeted costs. This responsibility includes System Integration and the related infrastructure (harness and rigs), System verification and integration to the customer platform.
Your role
This role is responsible for integration and verification of the technical performance of EW customer systems. This includes but is not limited to creation of the test baseline in cooperation with the System Engineer, execution of the acceptance tests, installations and installations performance as per the contract. This role also supports the execution of Customer Support contracts and functions, including field visits and maintenance and repair of products.
Take ownership of the system Integration and Verification through the following main functions:
Internally responsible for the integration, verification and delivery of the EW systems on customer projects and R&D projects.
Internally responsible for the integration Laboratories and the test infrastructure for the life of the EW systems.
Externally responsible to provide the support to the integrator on EW customer projects for the integration, installations, ground and field testing of the delivered EW systems on the customer platform (e.g. land vehicle, aircraft, sea vessel).
Typical activities needed to exercise these responsibilities are:
Maintain test infrastructure in labs
Generate the ICD and Interconnect Diagram
Establish test baselines
Responsible for the system rig definition, instantiation and verification
Responsible for the system integration, tests and evaluation.
Provide technical support to the platform installation authority during integration and field tests activities
Provide technical support to Marketing
Support demonstrations and exhibitions
Note that working at heights and in small, confined spaces may form part of day-to-day work environment.
Your profile
Practical experience required
At least 5 Years System Verification/ Integration experience and 3-5 years EW experience
Specific experience in the defence EW environment advantageous (Radar Warning, Missile Warning, Laser Warning & Countermeasures), in the three domains of airborne and Naval EW and Land Survivability
System integration and verification experience.
System platform integration experience will be advantageous
Military experience an advantage
Ground/ flight and field tests experience
Platform integration experience (Military land vehicle will be advantageous)
Required Knowledge
Electronics foundation
Electronic warfare knowledge
Domain knowledge in military environment (airborne, naval or land)
Platform installation knowledge of military land vehicles will be advantageous.

Qualification
Diploma in Electronical Engineering fields, BTech Electronical Engineering fields and or BEng (Electronics)
