System/Service Engineer

We are looking for a System/Service Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of our equipment and systems.

In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal technical teams to ensure reliable operation of our solutions and provide effective technical support whenever issues arise.

A good understanding of the technical projects with significant software and hardware content is essential. Experience and expertise in areas such as electronic warfare, radio-electronic reconnaissance, command and control systems, communications systems, ICT networks and cybersecurity would be an advantage.

Your place of work will be the Gdańsk/Gdynia office. This position is primarily office-based, so remote work is possible only in exceptional circumstances.

The position will require occasional travel within Poland and internationally to support business needs and projects.

Your role:

  • Install, commission, configure, and maintain equipment and systems;

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions;

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service activities;

  • Provide technical support and assist in resolving operational issues;

  • Conduct testing, measurements, and functional checks of equipment;

  • Prepare service reports and maintain accurate technical and service documentation;

  • Communicate technical findings and recurring issues to internal engineering, R&D, production, and customer service teams;

  • Support equipment/software upgrades, modifications, and improvements;

  • Ensure all service activities are performed in accordance with technical documentation, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.

Your profile:

  • Academic/Technical, military education, preferably in engineering, automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field;

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a technical service, maintenance, commissioning, or field engineering role will be an advantage;

  • Good understanding of one or several of the following systems is beneficial:
    - electronic warfare, including electronic support measures and electronic countermeasures;
    - signals intelligence and radio-electronic reconnaissance systems;
    - combat management systems, tactical display systems, or related systems;
    - communication systems, particularly IP-based networks.

  • Good understanding of the Polish Armed Forces’ regulations, standards and requirements;

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and documentation;

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken;

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;

  • Practical, hands-on approach to technical challenges;

  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset;

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;

  • Excellent social skills to build up and maintain interpersonal, business partner, and customer relations;

  • Ability to plan and coordinate effectively and efficiently to keep focus on priorities and deal with several complex issues simultaneously;

  • Driving licence, category B.

As a Personal Security Clearance is required for this role, applicants shall already hold or have the ability to obtain one.

Applicants selected will be subject to a security vetting and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including presenting a certificate of clear criminal record obtained from the Polish National Criminal Register.
