Your role
Naval Combat System is now looking for a Technical Project Manager in the Project and System Management section at Customer Support. As a Technical Project Manager, you work hand in hand with the Project Management leading the technical work within a customer project. You will carry a great responsibility managing the overall technical scope and also lead the technical teams of the customer project.
Customer projects typically consist in the execution of a contract covering the requirements, design, integration, testing and delivery of a system for a specific combat ship or class of ships. You will have the responsibility of ensuring that the requirements and technical solutions are well specified and feasible for the project to deliver successfully as per agreements with regards to time, budget, scope and quality.
Your main tasks will also include: Handle the verification and quality of the technical deliveries, contribute to perform the project activities in an efficient and competitive manner and manage and work to mitigate the technical risks.
The Project and System Management section at Customer Support is accountable for the execution of ongoing projects within Customer Support; ranging from project deliveries and upgrades, a large number of support agreements and multiple CEROS 200 overhauls projects. The section’s responsibility applies from contract start up to warranty expiry, including involvement in technical calculations in project offers and bids.
Your profile
For this position we are looking for a team player with the ability to lead and inspire people. We believe you have a collaborative mindset with a high level of engagement and interpersonal skills. You are a confident communicator in both Swedish and English and you share information in a clear and easy way, verbally and in writing.
The position requires experience from:
- Working with systems/solution design
- Leading people and teams
- SW and HW projects
- Contract management and customer dialogues
It would be desirable if you have experience from:
- Working with defense products or work with systems in the naval domain
- Safety critical systems
- IT security
- Real-time systems
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
This position is based in Järfälla, Stockholm.
