Job Description:
Saab's Finance team is seeking a Temporary Financial Analyst looking to grow their understanding and expertise in a professional setting. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), paid position based in Saab's Syracuse office for Summer 2025 (June – August). As a Financial Analyst for Saab, you will:
Gain experience in supporting a cross-functional team by providing financial reporting and data analysis
Assist in tracking program expenditures and cash flow
Prepare and have the opportunity to present financial reporting to stakeholders
Complete special projects as assigned and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
Interface with Accounting to ensure program financials are properly stated on Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
Receive clear expectations, constructive feedback, and structured time commitment.
Compensation Range: $18-$20/hr
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. Skills and Experience:
Required Skills:
Proactive, organized, and analytical with high attention to detail
Experience working in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Enrollment in an accredited degree program with a major in Finance, Business or related discipline
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
Must have completed Sophomore year or greater
Citizenship Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
