Your role
Saab Group Treasury is a central function with a global responsibility to coordinate the financial activities within the group. Treasury Middle Office is supporting Group Treasury with risk management and various development projects. We work closely with the organization throughout the world to develop, standardize, digitize, and streamline our processes.
In this role you will:
Support the pension fund with weekly NAV statements and risk management (10 BSEK AUM).
Oversee financial risk measures such as: Allocation mandates, modified duration, FX-hedge ratio and credit risk.
Maintain bond-, futures-, and options rates.
Monitor FX-flows.
Support Group Treasury with projects in risk management and other areas.
Work in close relation with Saab’s business areas.
Saab’s Treasury is based in Linköping. This is a part-time student position, with an expected workload of up to 50% during semesters and full-time during summer periods.
Your profile
You are currently pursuing a university degree in finance, engineering or a related field, with at least one year remaining of your studies.
You have a strong interest in finance, treasury and financial markets. Previous experience from internships, part-time work or student projects within finance, banking or analysis is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
You are analytical, structured and detail-oriented, with an interest in working with data, financial systems and problem solving. Exposure to programming or database work through studies, projects or previous experience is important for the role. Familiarity with MATLAB, SQL or similar tools is considered a strong advantage.
As a person, you are curious, proactive and collaborative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You are comfortable handling multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities and communicating effectively in both Swedish and English, written as well as spoken.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
