Your role

As a Warehouse Associate at Saab Canada, Inc., you play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse, inventory, and shipping activities, ensuring that parts and materials are handled accurately and delivered on time.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing and maintaining our internal inventory database with precision

  • Supporting the Warehouse Manager and collaborating closely with the Logistics Coordinator

  • Preparing domestic and international shipments, including hazardous materials (HAZMAT), while ensuring full compliance with Transport Canada regulations

  • Liaising with suppliers and service providers to coordinate shipments and inventory needs

  • Receiving and unpacking deliveries, verifying materials against documentation

  • Conducting inventory audits and stocktaking activities

  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across Saab to ensure seamless operations

  • Contributing to a small, close-knit team where flexibility and shared responsibility are valued

Your profile

We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team setting. You don't need to tick every box – if you're motivated to learn and grow with us, we encourage you to apply.

What you would bring:

  • A high school diploma

  • 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, or receiving (candidates with less experience who demonstrate the right attitude are also encouraged to apply)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, email, and Teams

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail

  • The ability to manage paperwork and documentation accurately

  • Physical capability to handle lifting up to 20 kg, work on ladders, assemble crates, and remain standing for extended periods

  • Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions during shipment activities

  • A valid driver's licence with a clean record, and the ability to operate a company vehicle when required

  • Access to a personal vehicle for commuting to the worksite

  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a collaborative small-team environment

Nice to have:

  • Forklift certification (training will be provided if needed)

  • Experience working in a small team where roles and priorities may shift

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
