Undeniable access to Space

The Allied Mission System (AMS) is a mission platform for organisations that need to understand activity in space and translate information into coordinated decisions. It brings data management, analytics, decision support and command functions into a common operational environment, helping users work across growing volumes of information from sensors, systems and data providers.

Built on Saab’s experience in battle management, command and control and mission systems across multiple operational domains, the AMS supports the Find Fix Track Target Engage Assess (F2T2EA) process.

The Allied Mission System reduces operator workload and fatigue, strengthening decision making and focusing human effort where it matters most.

The platform combines historical observations, real-time data and predictive assessments to help users understand current activity in context. Information from different sensor types can be ingested, normalised, enriched and correlated, supporting pattern-of-life assessment, behavioural analysis, anomaly detection and event prioritisation. Integrated workflows then support the progression from awareness and analysis to operational planning, surveillance management, sensor tasking and coordinated response. This allows the AMS to integrate with broader Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) ecosystems, contributing space-derived information and decision support within a wider operational context.

The AMS is designed around a modular architecture that separates infrastructure, data services, mission services and applications. Common services for workflow management, scheduling, tasking, security and data fusion can be reused across different mission areas. New sensors, analytics and applications can therefore be introduced without recreating core functions or replacing the underlying platform.

This approach supports capability growth while preserving investments in integrations, training, workflows and operational knowledge. Saab-developed functions can operate alongside capabilities created by customers, government organisations, industry partners, universities and research institutions. Developers can retain ownership of the intellectual property they create while using a common operational environment and integration framework.

Deployed across relevant security environments, the AMS provides a consistent mission-system experience for operations, training, experimentation and capability development. It is engineered to help organizations manage complexity today while creating a practical pathway for future space capabilities, collaboration and sovereign innovation.

Future focused platform

A common mission platform connects information, analysis and operational workflows. The AMS ingests and manages data from multiple sources, makes it available through reusable platform services, and supports mission applications within a consistent operating environment.

Its modular architecture allows data services, mission services and applications to evolve independently. This helps organisations to rapidly introduce new sensors, analytics and customer-developed capabilities without redesigning the platform or disrupting established workflows. Modular architecture is critical for adaptable warfare where system updates and technology changes are frequently required as situations and mission profiles change.

Built in Australia for deployment globally, the Allied Mission System is designed to counter evolving threats and optimise use of emerging technology through continuous development.

Historical, real-time and predictive information can be assessed together, supporting users as they identify relevant activity, establish context, prioritise events and coordinate a response. The result is an adaptable foundation for Space Domain Awareness, decision support and Space Command and Control.

To ensure constant system availability and continuous improvement, the AMS is AI powered and built to analyse and understand itself, enabling self-diagnosis.

Scalable mission system

Space missions, technologies and information demands will continue to change. The AMS is designed to evolve through planned platform enhancements and the addition of new integrations, analytics and mission applications.

Saab will continue developing the core platform, security and shared mission services through its product roadmap. Customers and approved partners can pursue parallel roadmaps focused on their priorities, including sensor interfaces, analytics and mission applications.

This shared platform approach preserves existing integrations, training and operational knowledge while enabling new capabilities to be introduced progressively. The approach also supports integration with broader Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) ecosystems as mission requirements evolve.
