GlobalEye’s highlights in 2018
GlobalEye is an Early Warning and Control (AEW & C) aircraft that is a truly multi-mission solution for balanced functions. It combines sophisticated sensors and sophisticated data fusion into an intuitive mission system on the Bombardier Global 6000 jet with fully networked communications. This capability provides excellent flexibility across the mission spectrum in times of peace and combat, and particularly benefits joint-forces commanders who manage combined air, sea and land operations.
"Over a period of just over two years, Saab launched, and a few weeks later, GlobalEye flew. The flight test program follows as planned, with the flight envelope being opened while in the ground the mission system completed all platform tests, "said Lars Tossman, chief of Airborne Surveillance Systems for the business Surveillance.

It also reflects decades of experience with the Erieye AEW & C system in operation worldwide on a variety of jet and turbo-propeller platforms.
