CCCUE upgrades fleet with latest Saab Seaeye Panther XTP
Saab UK has sold and delivered a new Seaeye Panther XTP remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to CCC Underwater Engineering S.A.L (CCCUE), strengthening the company’s offshore inspection and construction capabilities across its global operations.
The delivery of the Panther XTP was completed in January 2025, and replaces CCCUE’s long-serving Panther 905, originally delivered in 2001. It follows the successful integration of another Panther XTP into CCCUE’s fleet in 2023, demonstrating continued confidence in the system’s performance.
Established in 1976, CCCUE began as a commercial diving company operating in the Arabian Gulf. Today, the company has evolved into a full-service offshore construction firm supporting the energy sector worldwide. With this latest purchase, CCCUE now operates a fleet of nine Saab Seaeye ROVs.
Tavis Letherby, Survey / ROV Manager at CCCUE, said:
“We have worked with Saab Seaeye vehicles for more than two decades, and their reliability has been central to our operations. The Panther XTP’s proven performance, combined with its user-friendly design, makes it an ideal fit for the complex demands of our projects.”
Jon Robertson, Managing Director at Saab Seaeye, said:
“CCCUE’s continued investment in the Panther XTP underlines the system’s value to operators across the offshore energy sector. We’re proud to support CCCUE’s mission with reliable, high-performance vehicles that meet the real-world demands of global offshore operations.”
The Panther XTP is a compact, powerful ROV designed for a wide range of offshore inspection and intervention tasks. With a track record of robust performance in challenging conditions.
