Your role

In this role, you will lead the operational delivery of cutting-edge Military Information Systems within C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) solutions for land operations. As the Head of Land C2 Department, you will drive project excellence, develop talent, and deliver high-impact C2 Management Systems to our Army customers.

You are responsible for the development and implementation of advanced Information System technologies, ensuring they meet the operational needs of land-based military environments, while fostering a high-performing, motivated, and future-ready team.

With a structured and disciplined approach, you take ownership of your responsibilities and foster a culture of openness, trust, and collaboration.

You are a confident leader with a proven ability to build, motivate, and develop teams. Your communicative leadership style creates trust both internally and externally and inspires those around you to perform at their best.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex defence ICT systems (military C4I preferred).
  • Experience managing P&L, budgets, and large-scale program delivery.
  • A strong operational focus combined with financial accountability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including resource planning and competence development.
  • A genuine interest in learning, adapting, and working across different environments and cultures.
  • A technical academic degree or comparable military education
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English.

Merit:

  • Background from the Army or the defence industry.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment with a strong software focus.
  • Deep knowledge of current and future Land C4I systems.

We value not only your skills and experience, but also your personal qualities. We believe you contribute to a positive working environment, enjoy collaboration, and bring an attitude that supports both team and organisational development.
