Your role

To meet today's needs and future expansion, we are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with an interest in lasers to join the development of our next-generation simulator system.

We are looking for a person with an interest in engineering physics and embedded software development. You will be part of a team developing software for a system using lasers to simulate the ballistics of projectiles.

Your work will involve implementing high-level physics models into efficient embedded software systems, while also participating in all stages of the software development process—from conducting feasibility studies to software integration. We work with both COTS and in-house developed SW and HW components, which requires the ability to integrate diverse components into a functional system.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and how we believe you will perform and grow within our organization. We look for strengths in result orientation, teamwork, communication skills, and personal leadership. It is also important that you have a strong technical interest and a structured approach to your work.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • An Engineering degree in Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.

  • A solid mathematical foundation.

  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.

It is considered a bonus if you have a basic understanding of real-time systems, and experience as an embedded SW developer (C/C++).

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
