Your role
We are expanding our Information & Cyber Security Organization within Business Area Surveillance and are looking for a strategic leader to head our Governance, Risk and Compliance team. This role is key to bridging high-level security governance with operational excellence, ensuring that security is not only a requirement, but a business enabler and competitive advantage for Saab.
As an Information Security Manager, you will work in an international environment characterized by advanced security threats, complex IT landscapes and business-critical projects. You will lead the specialists responsible for the core of our security governance, ensuring that the Security Management System (SMS) remains an effective framework that drives security across the organization and translates strategic objectives into practical execution.
Your main tasks will be:
- Lead the strategic development of the Security Management System (SMS), ensuring alignment with ISO/IEC 27001, regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Drive the translation of security strategy into practical guidelines and processes across the organization.
- Ensure alignment with IT and technical functions so that security controls and risk mitigation are applied throughout the IT lifecycle.
- Lead modernization initiatives, including automation and digitalization of security processes.
- Oversee compliance, security controls and risk management to ensure effective mitigation of risks and identified gaps.
Preferred locations for this role are Solna/Stockholm or Kallebäck/Göteborg

You combine independent driving with a collaborative mindset and understand how to balance robust security with business needs.
We believe you are an experienced security leader with a strong background in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and a proven track record of leading specialists in complex environments. You view governance as a means to create resilience rather than simply ensuring compliance and have a genuine interest in modernizing security through automation and continuous improvement.
Required skills:
- Proven experience leading teams of highly skilled specialists.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in both Swedish and English.
- Good understanding of relevant regulations, standards and security best practices.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
