Your role
We are seeking a structured and experienced IT Manager to take responsibility of our IT environment through strong governance, supplier management, and operational oversight. The role is central to ensuring that our IT effectively support business objectives and operations while maintaining high standards of reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
You will be responsible for managing our external IT-Partner, ensuring that both operational performance, SLA's and IT security are managed in line with our requirements and expectations. Internally, you will act as the primary point of contact for all IT- security related matters.
Key responsibilities:
Govern and oversee the IT, including operations, infrastructure, and IT security controls.
Act as the primary interface toward the external IT Partner, ensuring service delivery, SLA performance, and security compliance.
Manage the IT budget, including planning, cost control, and optimization
Define and drive the IT and IT-security strategy aligned with business objectives and needs.
Ensure effective handling of incidents, service requests, and security events, including escalation management
Drive governance, risk management, compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2), and continuous improvement of IT services.
Your profile
You are a structured and governance-oriented professional with a strong ability to create clarity, control, and accountability across both IT operations and IT security. You are comfortable operating in an environment where IT services are largely delivered through external partners, and you take ownership of ensuring that these services meet business needs, performance expectations, and security requirements.
You bring a business-oriented mindset and understand how to translate IT capabilities into tangible value, balancing cost, risk, and performance. At the same time, you have a solid understanding of information security principles and are able to assess and communicate risks in a pragmatic and actionable way.
As a stakeholder manager, you are confident in interacting with both technical specialists and non-technical colleagues, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and transparency. You are proactive, solution-driven, and take a hands-on approach when needed, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, resilience, and long-term sustainability of the IT environment.
Required:
Proven experience in IT management, IT governance, or service delivery management.
Experience managing external IT providers, including security and compliance aspect.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, networks, and modern workplace environment.
Strong knowledge of IT security principles.
Experience in IT budgeting, cost control, and financial follow-up.
Experience handling incidents, including security incidents and escalation
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Advantagous Competences:
Experience with information security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security capabilities (e.g., Entra ID, Defender suite, Purview)
Experience in developing and implementing IT and security strategies
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ITIL)
This role requires global business travel, as well as travel between our sites in Gothenburg, Växjö and Apeldoorn. The position can be based at any of these locations.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
