Your role
As the Manager for Sensor and unit manufacturing, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of our production line, ensuring efficient and high-quality production of our compact and mobile radar system Giraffe 1X.
Your role will be to manage the group that is responsible for manufacturing of units and complete sensors. You will be reporting to the Head of Giraffe 1X Production and you will work closely with the other groups and managers in the management team to meet the wanted production capacity. In your role you will collaborate with production managers in both Sweden and United Kingdom.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled production staff to achieve daily production targets and maintain exceptional quality standards.
- Oversee all aspects of the sensor manufacturing process from receiving components from the warehouse to final assembly of the sensor, ensuring smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures to ensure every Giraffe1X system meets the highest standards.
- Collaborate closely with other production teams, quality, and engineers to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and optimize production efficiency.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.

- Experience of production Improvements and efficiency
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
