We're seeking a dynamic and motivated Manager for Radar Sensor Runtime to join our Product Unit Giraffe AMB and ARTHUR. This is your opportunity to drive innovation, foster a culture of excellence, and deliver top-tier runtime solutions with a relentless focus on execution.
Your role
As the Manager for Radar Sensor Runtime, you will lead a team of 10 highly skilled professionals, playing a pivotal role in our Product Unit. Your mission is to ensure efficient and timely product development, maintain high quality, and continuously add customer value. You will collaborate closely with other units and the platform product portfolio to drive our transformation towards modern software development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Oversee the sensor runtime section, including employees and consultants, reporting directly to the Head of Software Design for Giraffe AMB and ARTHUR. As the Design Responsible, you will ensure the section's deliveries meet the highest standards.
- Strategic Development: Drive strategic initiatives, resource planning, and competence development to secure the unit's success and deliver high-quality runtime software on time.
- Project Delivery: Ensure timely and high-quality software deliveries, managing budgets and employee well-being with an execution-focused mindset.
- Technical Expertise: Lead the development of runtime systems for radar sensors, focusing on real-time processing, system integration, and performance optimization.
- Digitalization Initiatives: Implement central digitalization initiatives across the company, emphasizing system design, implementation, integration, and verification.
Your profile
We are looking for a leader with proven experience in secure and safety-critical environments, coupled with a strong passion for complex software product development and cross-site cooperation. Your background should include a solid business understanding, a sharp customer focus, and extensive experience in product development. You should be known for your communicative, structured, and performance-driven approach to work. Additionally, you should excel at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience in runtime systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and/or embedded software development.
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities, with a successful track record of software deliveries.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a focus on execution and results.
- High energy, creativity, and a strong drive to succeed.
- Relevant professional or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
