As a Production Engineering at Saab, you will be located at our factory in Jhajjar. You will have a central role in supporting production and improving work processes for the following responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise daily production activities.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize production methods to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment.
- Analyse production data to identify and solve process-related issues.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company regulations.
- Prepare production reports and maintain production documentation.
- Train production operators on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Some part of the introduction will be held in Sweden during Spring 2027.

Through your structured and methodical approach, you successfully manage competing priorities while delivering both immediate results and long-term value, contributing to the success of the team and the organization.
To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone with the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in one of these disciplines:
- Industrial Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering from any reputed Institute
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a precision engineering manufacturing in Defence, Chemical or Heavy Industry environment, preferably within a European manufacturing facility
- A minimum of 3 years of independent responsibility as a Production Leader in a mid-sized factory.
- Basic knowledge of Machines & Equipment electronics
- Understanding of quality management tools.
- Familiarity with CAD, ERP, and manufacturing software.
- Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi
It is also beneficial if you meet the following requirements;
- Basic knowledge of PLC / HMI programming & Codes (Preferred)
- Basic knowledge of SCADA systems (advantageous)
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Plan and monitor production schedules.
- Optimize production capacity and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
