Would you like to work for a company with solutions that contributes to Saab’s mission of keeping people and society safe?

Saab Danmark A/S is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Engineer / Manager to lead and enhance our quality management systems and processes.

This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of product and service quality across our operations, aligning with Saab's global quality objectives and industry regulations.

Your Role

As a Quality Engineer / Manager, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Saab Danmark's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and manage internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, analyzing data to identify trends, root causes of non-conformities, and areas for improvement.

  • Oversee the management of non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA) processes, ensuring effective resolution and prevention of recurrence.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, and project management teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the product lifecycle, from design to delivery and support.

  • Manage and mentor a team of quality professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and company objectives.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

  • Participate in management reviews, reporting on the performance of the QMS and recommending improvements.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, new regulations, and technological advancements in quality management.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate is a seasoned quality leader with a solid technical foundation, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, and ideally a Master’s degree as well.

With 8–10 years of experience in quality management—including 3–5 years in a leadership role—they bring deep expertise from complex, regulated environments such as defense, aerospace, or high‑tech manufacturing.

They possess in‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100, not just theoretically but through hands‑on implementation and continuous improvement of compliant systems.

Professional certifications such as CQM/OE or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt further demonstrate their commitment to structured, data‑driven excellence.

Analytically strong and methodical, they use data to guide decisions, solve problems, and elevate performance. Their communication and leadership skills enable them to influence, collaborate, and build trust across all levels of the organization, ensuring quality becomes a shared responsibility.

This candidate has a proven track record of developing, implementing, and optimizing quality management systems, along with practical experience applying risk management principles to strengthen operational resilience.
