We have an excellent software development team full of both experienced professionals and growing juniors, but are still eagerly looking for new colleagues to join us and help us make some awesome high-tech stuff! Backlog is full for years to come, and there are many roles and tasks available in the SW team, which we can tailor together based on your expertise and career ambitions.
In addition to the hands-on implementation of top quality software, you'll work closely with other teams (RF, HW, testing) to figure out what the software needs to do and how the system should work. You get to work with absolutely cutting-edge technologies, and are guaranteed to learn something new along the way!
Currently we are looking for a more seasoned SW Developer(s), with experience on embedded software development in general but specifically with the skills listed below. As there are many opportunities and different expertise areas we are targeting to strengthen, we appreciate if you accompany your application with a motivation letter where you give us clear insight on what you can do, would like to do and learn, and which kind of role and responsibilities you would be interested in.
Your profile
As a person, you are a team player and active collaborator, with passion to make great things happen with a team. You also have relevant education and work experience in software engineering / computer systems / embedded systems field.
So, what do you need to bring to the table?
- You are an expert in C/C++ and have solid understanding of embedded systems
- You have experience with embedded operating systems like Linux and ideally also with RTOS
- Being comfortable with agile software development processes is expected
- You have experience in Yocto (or some other system building tool)
- Good communication skills in speaking and writing (Finnish and English)
Additional know-how that is greatly appreciated but individual bullets are not blockers:
- Digital signal processing or radar application know-how
- Knowledge about FPGA platforms
- Hardware interfaces and communication protocols
- Familiarity with tools like JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
