Your role
Command and Control is growing and we are putting more efforts into the test and verification area. This is a position for a senior test engineer in the integration and verification (I&V) team. You will be a part of our journey to grow and develop ways of working so that we can manage to deliver successfully and efficiently in our projects and product programs.
To work as a senior test engineer within Command and Control, means you have to understand system behavior and performance. Your responsibility includes planning and leading the work for specific projects and coordinating this work with project managers and team leads. The role also includes participating in the department test forum that includes representatives from all development teams as well as the integration and verification team in order to share knowledge and inspire to improved test practice.

Other tasks are:
- Systems integration, verification and validation
- Maintain and develop a common workflow regarding Integration and Verification, from both a product and project perspective
- For certain projects, take part in test activities and administer, review and release test documents
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you are a self-motivated person used to efficiently collaborating with team members as well as other stakeholders. You have several years of experience from working as a test engineer within the area of complex system development.
You are a structured person with the ability to prioritize. You take responsibility to deliver result and work proactively. Your passion lies in finding the best ways of working and you have the ability to challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives. You should know what it takes to develop software with quality and on-time.
You are a good communicator, fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing and have experience from coaching agile teams in complex environments.
Required skills:
- Bachelor degree or work experience in similar roles and tasks
- Several years of experience from working with software test (including automation) and QA
- Experience from test planning
- Experience in analyzing test results, improvements, fault tracing and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
Desired skills:
- Experiences from programming (preferably in Java)
- Knowledge of and Jira and Zephyr
- Knowledge of Linux
- Experience from SW and HW development
- Understanding of requirement and compliance work
- Experience from working in agile teams
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection and that you hold a Swedish citizenship.
