Your role
As Head of ERP, you are responsible for the performance, development and effectiveness of your area. You lead the organisation, people and capabilities needed to evolve today’s operational delivery into a scalable enterprise platform and delivery model, aligned with Saab’s business and technology priorities.
A key priority will be to establish and execute a clear platform and transformation roadmap, combining reliable day-to-day delivery with modernisation, standardisation and reusable platform capabilities.
You will evolve a centrally governed ERP platform and delivery model, with clear responsibilities and guardrails that enable business areas to develop and adapt solutions while maintaining security, architectural integrity and a sustainable ERP core.
The ERP platform sits at the centre of many of Saab's core business processes. You will ensure that it continues to support future business growth, digitalisation, automation and AI-driven capabilities.
You will be part of the Core Enterprise Platforms & Applications management team and work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders, vendors and partners to align platform strategy, technology investments and platform evolution. The role requires some travel to meet with your teams and business stakeholders.
In this role, you will
- Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within the area building the capabilities and ownership needed for a scalable platform organisation
- Lead the development and evolution of Saab's ERP platform
- Define and drive the ERP platform strategy and roadmap
- Drive platform modernisation and lifecycle management
- Establish a scalable and standardised ERP platform that supports future business needs
- Drive adoption of automation, analytics and AI-enabled platform capabilities
- Guide platform architecture and integration with Saab's wider technology landscape
- Ensure platform stability, security, scalability and operational performance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors and strategic partners to maximise platform value
- Take financial ownership of the area and contribute actively to the management team

Your profile
We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong combination of people leadership, business understanding and technology insight.
You have experience leading operational delivery while transforming organisations, platforms and ways of working. You translate strategic direction into clear priorities, build ownership and lead change across organisational boundaries. You understand how to combine common platform standards with the flexibility business areas need, enabling others to deliver within clear responsibilities and guardrails.
You are a people-oriented leader who creates engagement, develops others and fosters high-performing teams. At the same time, you combine strategic thinking with a strong delivery focus and a passion for platform development and technology evolution.
- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Strong people leadership and talent development skills
- Experience leading ERP or enterprise platform organisations, combining reliable operational delivery with organisational and technology transformation
- Strong understanding of ERP platforms such as IFS, SAP or equivalent, including business processes, architecture, integration and lifecycle management
- Experience establishing scalable operating models and platform governance that enable decentralised development and adaptation within clear responsibilities, common standards and guardrails
- Strong business understanding and ability to translate business priorities into platform roadmaps and measurable outcomes
- Strong stakeholder, vendor and partner management capabilities in large, complex and global organisations
- Experience from the defence industry or other highly regulated industries is considered an advantage
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
