Your role

As Strategy and Transformation Manager, you will guide the strategic and transformational direction of SAAB Surface Sensor Solutions. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to help solve some of the Business Units most difficult strategic issues. 

You will be expected to lead our most crucial projects, with a variety of resources and stakeholders from other parts of the organization. In some more detail, you will:  

  • Manage strategy development and lead strategic projects, to continuously develop, update and clarify SAAB Surface Sensor Solutions strategy in all areas. This means working together with our senior global leaders, but also with our functional leaders in e.g. sustainability, supply chain and manufacturing development. 
  • Drive strategy execution and transformation, meaning working closely with the local leaders (e.g. factory managers) to accelerate our transformation and strategy implementation, in areas such as operational excellence, sustainability, digital transformation, portfolio management, etc, all with the task of making the business unit more profitable and sustainable. 

Your profile

To succeed, and thrive, in this role we see that you enjoy working in teams, often with a mix of team members from the Strategy office and other parts of the company. Also, you are excied to take an active role in developing and coaching other colleagues, as well as developing the team as a whole. 

We also believe that you have:

  • Master degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering.  
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in management consulting or internal corporate consulting / strategy teams, working with corporate strategy development or transformation programs at large corporations. 
  • Experience from leading digital transformation-, BI analytics- or AI implementation programs will be seen as a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them by focusing on the most important challenges. 
  • Experience from leadership roles with P&L responsibility will be seen as plus but not mandatory.
  • Effective communication, the ability to gain buy-in from others, and sound business judgment, with the ability to communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner. 
  • Leadership skills, including an interest in inspiring and developing others. 
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural and complex global context. 

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
