Do you have experience working with Link 16, Link 22, MIDS, JREAP, Combat Management Systems, or other tactical communication solutions? If so, this could be an opportunity for you.
As a Systems Engineer specializing in NATO Tactical Data Links, you will join our growing Systems Engineering team within Naval Combat Systems, where we develop the next generation of advanced naval defense solutions. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting mission-critical communication capabilities for both domestic and international military platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and Development: Collaborate with customers, engineers, suppliers, and military stakeholders to design and develop state-of-the-art Tactical Data Link solutions, ensuring interoperability and compliance with NATO standards and doctrines.
- Systems Integration: Play a key role in integrating Tactical Data Link capabilities into advanced Naval Combat Systems, enabling seamless communication and information exchange across multiple platforms and units.
- Testing and Verification: Participate in testing and verification activities to ensure system reliability, security, performance, and operational effectiveness.
- Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support for deployed systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement enhancements to improve system functionality and availability.
- Training and Documentation: Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user training materials to ensure effective operation and understanding of system capabilities.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners in an international environment, communicating technical solutions and driving successful project outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with developments in Tactical Data Links and related defense technologies, identifying opportunities to improve system performance and operational capability.
In this role, you will contribute to the continued development of some of the world's most advanced naval combat systems. Our solutions are deployed on naval platforms such as surface vessels and submarines, where they integrate information from sensors, tactical data links, and weapon systems to provide operators with the best possible decision support in demanding operational environments.
