Your role
As a subsystem engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing the antenna subsystem, from dimensioning to troubleshooting and maintaining product quality. We are currently seeking an individual to take responsibility for the antenna subsystem in our Giraffe 1X product.
This position will offer you the opportunity to work within the following areas:
Technical management
Overall system architecture
As a subsystem engineer for the Antenna, you will be part of the dedicated system team for Giraffe 1X, but will ultimately be responsible for its antenna component. This includes antenna elements, amplifier/receiver chains, cooling systems, power analog/digital converters, and firmware.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, requiring excellent analytical skills, teamwork, and the ability to take a leading role. As part of a large organization, there will be ample opportunities for professional growth in both technology and management.
Your profile
We are looking for a driven individual with the following qualifications:
A Master of Science degree, or equivalent higher academic degree, or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Proficiency in system development, requirements management, microwave theory, and experience with Matlab
Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
Excellent initiative and leadership skills
A passion for technology and a genuine interest in working with people
