Job Description:
Saab, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to provide integral support to the FoFTS-Next program. You will support training and test events in support of USMC Force on Force and Training as A Service activity.
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Force-on-Force Training Systems-Next (FoFTS-Next) program will provide the training tools needed to prepare Marines for any contingency, anywhere. Join our team as we assist the Marines in revolutionizing their force-on-force training methodology!
Responsibilites include:
- Mastering the Saab Gamer software suite
- Supporting ongoing training and test events in various CONUS locations
- Liaising with Saab Test Team lead and customer training representatives to plan, schedule, set up and execute training events up to multi-Battalion level
- Maintaining ongoing operations operating multiple software and hardware platforms to support training and test objectives
- Conducting train-the-trainer activities to both internal and external personnel
Significant travel can be expected. Some locations will require the ability to operate in austere environments for extended periods of time.
Skills and Experience:
Ability to, and experience with, developing and delivering After Action Review materials, training materials and manuals, test plans and procedures are required
Experience operating as an FSR conducting daily training operations and distinct advantage
Military experience preferred
Significant experience in supporting Live Training and testing events both in the lab and in deployed locations is required
Citizenship Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
