Your role
Do you want to work with managing verification and validation activities of digital Air Traffic Management systems? Our current Test Leader has moved on to new challenges, and we are now looking for a replacement.
This is an independent role for a person with high self-drive, a strong focus on deliveries, and an interest in developing how we verify and validate our products to meet industry standards and expectations.
Working as a Test Leader within Verification and Validation means understanding system behaviour and performance. Your responsibility covers planning, preparation, execution, and reporting of acceptance test outcomes for our products.
The role includes communication in various forms, both internally and externally (with customers, sub-suppliers, and stakeholders). To succeed, you therefore need excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written.
The main tasks are:
Define and maintain a common acceptance test workflow for Verification and Validation, from both a product and project perspective
Plan and continuously improve our processes, activities, and operations
Administer, review, and release test documentation
Define documentation standards, primarily for verification results and aggregated reporting
Establish guidelines for test design and execution
Train and coach development teams within the discipline
Participate in release reviews and provide documentation such as Verification Matrices and regression analysis reports
Introduce and implement a test automation framework and ways of working adapted to development team preconditions
Your profile
To thrive in this role, you are a self-motivated person with strong communication skills. You collaborate efficiently with both team members and other stakeholders. You are structured, confident, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
You are eager to learn and continuously seek new knowledge, and you have a strong interest in verification and validation of complex systems.
Required skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience in a similar role
At least a couple of years of experience in complex system verification
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience in test planning and team coordination
Experience in analyzing test results, identifying improvements, fault tracing, and root cause analysis
Experience in system usability validation
Test and QA experience
Desired skills:
Knowledge of DOORS, Jira, GIT, requirements as code
Experience in both software and hardware development
Understanding of requirements management and compliance work
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
