Sponsorship
Saab engages in sponsorships and social engagements in order to strengthen its brand, relationships, trust, and recruitment.
All sponsorships and donations are governed by Saab’s Group-wide policy, which sets clear guidelines and a defined strategy applicable without exception. This policy explicitly prohibits involvement in political activities and ensures that sponsorships are never used as a means of bribery or corruption. All engagements must align with Saab’s Code of Conduct and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Saab prioritises long-term partnerships and requires all initiatives to follow structured processes for evaluation and performance measurement. Decision-making is guided by the company’s overall strategy and established governance framework. Local decision-making bodies manage sponsorships within defined areas and financial thresholds.
Proposals that exceed these thresholds or fall outside local mandates are escalated to the Ethics and Compliance Board, the central decision-making authority within Saab. In addition, all locally approved sponsorships are reported to the Board, ensuring transparency and a consolidated global overview of Saab’s engagements.
