Job Description:

Saab in East Syracuse, NY is seeking an Assembler to perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Responsibilities will include:

  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and production or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications.
  • Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools as necessary to complete required assemblies.
  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of assembly related experience
  • ​IPC 610 & IPC 620 Certified
  • J-STD Certified

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
