Double Eagle MuMNS
Saab's MuMNS (Multi-Shot Mine Neutralisation System) offers a new generation of mine neutralisation and immunisation in a powerful, modular system based on proven Saab technology and mine countermeasures (MCM) solutions.
MuMNS offers unprecedented operational capability with greater flexibility, significantly increasing the speed of deployment and reducing the cost of MCM operations and the risk to personnel. MuMNS is launched remotely from its escort vessel and steered automatically or manually to a designated waypoint at speeds of up to 4 knots. The target is located using onboard sonar and cameras. The pilot manually controls the final approach to the target.
